Colin McRae Rally 2005 Xbox Exclusive
Although previously expected to ship for the PlayStation 2, PC and Xbox, it now appears that the upcoming Colin McRae Rally 2005 racing title from Codemasters will be an Xbox exclusive in North America. The information comes from a post on the official Codemaster's community boards that reads as follows: Ok, clarification. Anyone who asked me a few months ago if the game was coming out on PS2 in the US, I told yes, because that's what I was told at the time. However, for some reason- (probably retailer/distributor issues) it's now been decided for an xbox-exclusive... sort of. The PC version won't be available in US retailers, but will be available to buy direct from our website shop. the xbox version will be available in retailers. I don't know about the price. Sorry for any confusion caused- sometimes people tell me the wrong thing... This ONLY Applies for the NTSC territories. Europe and Australia will have all three versions (PC, PS2, Xbox) available through normal channels So although the game will ship for all three platforms in overseas, North American fans of the series will have to pick it up on Microsoft's Xbox when the game ships in late September.Source: http://www.gamerfeed.com
